Characteristics of the wine and vinification

The Gascons have always liked the "tuquets", or small hills. They can be used for seeing quite long distances and for planting vines on their well-drained slopes, a situation that is very favourable to the vinestocks, which happily send their roots deep down. The gravel soils and good sun exposure produce a delightful, likeable wine.
